365 Scrap Challenge

So I have decided to do a 365 day challenge of scrapbooking. It will force me to really get to know my camera and take a picture every day. Maybe this way I won't be behind years in trying to scrap my pictures.

We finally got decent snow this year for the kids to build a snowman. Kit used is In The Snowflake World

I won't be posting my LO's everyday - just once in awhile. LOL

We finally have a sunny day with no snow - maybe I will be able to get out of the house. BUT, we have more snow coming in tonight. I think we will be stuck at home for New Year's Eve. I'm guessing it will be a popcorn and movie night.

Starry Nite

I hope everyone's Holidays were wonderful! We had a memorable time with family - good food, good conversations and the kids had a blast. It will be nice when things have all calmed down and the kids get back to school though. We are hoping for the snow to stop, but alas we have one storm after another on the horizon. We got another 7 inches last night bringing our December total to almost 50 inches!! Things wouldn't be so bad if we could get out of the driveway and actually go somewhere. Being cooped up in the house for a week is getting on everyone's nerves. Kids can't even go out and play in it as the snow in the backyard is way over their heads....

We were finally able to leave the house today and get some shopping done before the next round of snow comes in....it can end anytime now. Our roads are still ugly and its very difficult to drive in and people don't understand to slow down.

Dude! Where's my car????

Mother nature has set a record here in my little hamlet of a record snowfall in 24 hours. We have about 26 inches on the ground right now and it's still snowing. Took my darling husband 4 1/2 hours just to shovel the driveway. Poor baby is exhausted. Hopefully it will stop here pretty soon. If you can see the fence across the road - that fence is 4 feet tall. The schools were closed today - the town has basically shut down to give the snowplows a chance. I bet they close the schools tomorrow too - which is a rarity in this town. I'm hoping to get some more QP's made tonight......

Sorry its been so long since I have created a QP. Life with two little ones, well not so little, but young, keeps me hopping! Between school, karate, Holiday parties, and getting ready for Yule I have barely had a chance to sit down.
My dear friend Soto, has graciously allowed me to use her new kit (not yet released) to create some QP's for you. Hop on over to her blog to watch for an update of when this will be released. Trust me when I say this kit is Fantastic!!!! Of course any kit that has black will have me hooked...LOL

Miss Anna had her birthday party today at her Karate school. Her favorite part was cutting her cake with the Katana. She also got to break a board with her foot. She had a wonderful time with all her friends.

A very good friend, who shall remain nameless, (Soto) convinced me I needed a blog. We, along with Laura, do digi-scrapping together for Soto's group. We are in the process of adventuring out and creating quick-pages, and I needed a space to display. I may not speak to you again Soto, but I still love ya!!! LOL
